![]() ![]() When I do a verification for my LG monitor, if I check simulation profile (“use simulation profile as display profile” is unchecked), selecting Rec709 or Display P3 with a custom gamma of 2.4 like the calibration settings, the report says I have a contrast ratio of just 650 if instead I uncheck simulation profile or if I choose tone curve unmodified, the contrast ratio goes to 1190. My problem is that I don’t understand how set the verification properly: In profiling I select single curve + matrix and black point compensation. ![]() My calibration settings are 6504k, 100nits and a relative gamma of 2.4 (I want it accurate for a dark viewing environment) with black output offset of 100%. I will mainly use them for content consumption because I’m not an artist. I have an X-Rite i1Display Pro OEM (should be the same as Pro Plus) and a ColorMunki Photo to create matrix corrections. What I need to calibrate/profile are an Intel MacBook 16″ and a new LG 27UP850-W that supports hardware calibration. Select this color profile and click Set as Default Profile.Hello, I’ve been looking at many discussions here in the past month and I think you are awesome, I learned a lot but there are still many things that I don’t quite understand since I’m new to profiling and calibrations. In the Color Management dialog, the color profile sRGB IEC61966-2.1 now appears under the section Profiles associated with this device. In the Associate Color Profile dialog that appears, locate the color profile sRGB IEC61966-2.1 in the list and click OK.In the Color Management dialog > Devices tab, make sure that the check box option Use my settings for this device is selected.Let us help make this right.Ĭould you please checkout the below steps:Īssociate sRGB IEC61966-2.1 Color profile on your system The issue can occur in the grid view of the Library module due to a corrupt color profile. It seems that the calibration has not completed properly and it's showing unexpected results. Sorry that images with gray areas appear as blue in Lightroom after you've used the Displa圜al calibaraion to calibrate your monitor. UPDATE **I added The settings I used for displaycal if it helps**Īs requested, here is where I change system colors. this is a desktop with an external White LED monitor. ![]() I am thoroughly stumped with whats is wrong, I have uninstalled lightroom and reinstalled, I NEED HELP. *Changing my system color profile to another profile does not change the Problem.* ![]() Also I attached a photo of the blues where the gray should be in the histogram. Here is a screenshot of the library tab and develop tab with a "medium gray" backround. White and Black are very true to color when set as the backround color.Īs photographers a picture is worth a thousand words =). This is very noticable when changing the backround color to a shade of gray in the developer tab. I know that these images are not hued blue through past experence and also my editing laptop shows the histogram for these images with gray below the histogram color curve. Everything looks great system wide but when I get to lightroom it seems that grays all have a blue hue to them for some reason? The histogram shows grays as blue on the Library tab and developer tab as well. I ran a monitor calibration with Displa圜al software and a Spyder5 calibrator. ![]()
